Confirm your process

The Consent page asks you to confirm these facts:
  • Your app obtains prior express written consent, which means recorded permission before contact, for automated marketing texts.
  • The consent checkbox starts unchecked.
  • The phone field remains optional.
  • Your app discloses that AI can answer, record, and transcribe calls.
  • You keep the wording and the time when each person agreed.
The confirmation is one-way in the dashboard. You must complete it before the app can go Live. This confirmation does not replace each person’s consent record. A paywall event tells Hyzl that a person left your paywall. Send the person’s real choice with each relevant paywall event.

Wording for your app

Use this wording as a starting point. Replace every placeholder with your company name and working legal links.
I agree that {Your company} and its service providers may contact me by phone call and text message at the number provided, including with automated or AI-assisted technology, about my account and related offers. An AI may answer calls, and calls may be recorded and transcribed. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Keep the box unchecked by default. Keep the phone field optional so that a person can continue without consent. Store the exact wording, date and time, and device or session with the person’s choice.

Send the real choice

consent.attested records the person’s current choice. Send consent.text to record the exact wording that the person saw. Send consent.at as an ISO 8601 date and time, such as 2026-09-17T14:30:00Z. If you include consent.attested, it must contain a Boolean value. A Boolean is either true or false. Do not send an empty consent object. Hyzl treats that object as false and revokes stored consent.
The current Consent page calls consent.attested required. The paywall-event endpoint accepts an absent consent field with the behavior above.
An event with consent but no phone number does not start outreach. Send another event after you collect the phone number. Use the same account identifier in both events. Read the paywall-event reference for the complete field contract.
