# Home

> Read your recovery results, recent conversations, app health, and current spend.

Home shows what Hyzl did for one app. It uses confirmed payment and delivery records instead of estimates.

## Before recovery starts

Home shows the **Setup** checklist until your app completes its required setup. The checklist has eight steps:

1. **Name your app**
2. **Connect payments**
3. **Get your number**
4. **Teach Hazel about your app**
5. **Confirm consent**
6. **Install Hyzl**
7. **Send a test text**
8. **Add a card**

Each completed row shows **Review**. Each incomplete row shows **Set up**.

After all eight steps, select **Go live** to start recovery for real people. You can also keep the app in Test.

## Revenue recovered

The **Revenue recovered** card shows confirmed payments that followed recovery. Choose **This month** or **Last month**.

The month follows the app's timezone. The chart shows how many people recovered on each day.

The main amount appears only when every recovered payment has an amount in the same currency. Otherwise, Home shows **Payment amounts unavailable** and the confirmed person count.

Before the first event, the card shows `0`, **0 people**, and **Ready for your first event.** It does not invent payment data.

People who already paid before outreach do not count as recovered. They appear under **Already paid** instead.

## Recovery activity

The activity row counts people, not individual attempts. A person appears once in each applicable category for the selected month.

| Label            | What it counts                                                                                         |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Left paywall** | People whose first normal paywall event arrived during the month.                                      |
| **Already paid** | People whom the payment check found paid before outreach.                                              |
| **Texted**       | People who received at least one recovery text. Hazel's conversation replies do not add this count.    |
| **Replied**      | People who sent at least one text reply.                                                               |
| **Called**       | People who answered a call that Hazel placed. Voicemail, missed calls, and wrong numbers do not count. |
| **Called back**  | People who called the app's number and reached Hazel.                                                  |
| **Paid**         | People with a confirmed payment after recovery.                                                        |

Test people and test calls never appear in these counts.

## Recent conversations

**Recent conversations** shows up to four conversations with the newest activity first. Each row shows the person's first name or phone number.

The row status is **Paid**, **Stopped**, **Replied**, or **Texted**. Select **Open Inbox** to read the full conversation.

If no messages exist, Home shows **No conversations yet.**

## App health

The health row shows whether Hyzl can receive events, check payments, and use the app's number.

| Events   | **Events arriving** | **Waiting for events** means no normal [paywall event](/reference/paywall-event) exists. **No recent events** means the last event is more than seven days old. |
| Payments | **Payment check**   | **No payment check yet** means no recent result exists. **Payment check needs attention** means the latest check failed.                                        |
| Number   | **Number active**   | **No number assigned**, **Number preparing**, or **Number needs attention**.                                                                                    |

Home shows the time of the latest event and payment check when those times exist. It uses the app's timezone.

Select the related link when a health item needs attention:

* **Check that your server sends paywall events** opens Install.
* **Review your payment connection** opens Payment connections.
* **Review your number** opens Your number.

If outbound calls are on, Home also summarizes the saved calling windows. Open **View Flow** for the full schedule.

## Current spend

A billing period is the 30-day period on one bill.

**This period’s spend** shows the projected bill for the current billing period. This period can differ from the month selected above.

If you set a spending cap, Home shows the projected spend against that cap. Select **View billing** for billing details.

## Updates and errors

Home updates every 30 seconds while the page is visible. It also updates when you return to the browser tab.

Home shows a load state when you first open the page or change the month. If a request fails, Home removes old totals and shows the error.

Select **Try again** after the connection returns. Home never replaces failed data with zeroes.
